As a first time buyer these guys were extremely helpful. I was buying a house in my name soley and I was able to increase my affordability by about 15k which meant I was able to buy a house instead of an apartment. Previously I had tried to get a mortage in principle but it was impossible for the house I wanted. Additionally these guys were very helpful. Originally I was in the process of buying a house but had to pull out for various reasons relating to the property being in probate (Emma had handelled this for me and gave me really great impartial advice). During the process of trying to find a house again Richard and Chris both offered support to me after Emma had left. They both have fantastic knowledge of the local area and we're able to tell if they knew an area that had concrete construction houses, something an estate agent just would no have been upfront about, this is something I really respected about them, they do not just want a quick sale, they genuinely care about their customers and want them to have all the information to hand to make the right choice for this reason I will always go back to them. In the end it was actually Chris that took on my case and he was amazing throughout the whole process. It wasn't just a case of organising the mortage he helped push things along and chased all the parties, including me haha. On one occasion I sent some signed paperwork to my solicitors and they did not inform they had not recieved it. Chris followed up a few weeks later and the Solicitors said they were waiting for some paperwork from me, it was Christmas so the post was not the best! If Chris had not chased this I do not know how long it would have taken for me to find this out. There were many occasions where Chris kept things moving along with gentle reminders and followups, he had fostered a good relationship with my Solicitors and the estate agents. Additionally, I always trusted that I could go to them with questions and get some genuine off hand advice whilst I was making decisions on things, I felt they prioritised my needs.

Chris has been excellent throughout the remortgage process with some great advice on current mortgages. He even managed to help us swap lenders in record time and the whole process only took 6 weeks (including Christmas downtime).
